High Rise Building Lettering
The Calusa Harbour Senior Living Center rises 20 stories above Caloosahatchee River in Fort Myers, Florida. The high rise building lettering was in need of an update. The aluminum letter signage is about 250 feet above the bank of the river, so the use of cranes was impossible.
To complete the project, the Signs by Crannie team started by fabricating new sign faces. Next, they rappelled over the side of the building, removed the old sign faces, cleaned the aluminum cans, and replaced the letters and trim caps. At the same time, all the aluminum channel letter cans were retrofit with LED lighting to lower the energy cost – all while hanging over the side of the building!
