Credit Union Sign in Flint, MI

ELGA Credit Union in Flint, MI asked Signs by Crannie to create signage for their most recent branch in the historic district of Flint, Michigan. The architect, the City of Flint and ELGA Credit Union wanted the signage to match the Art Deco architectural period style of the building.

Working with the architect, the sign is a combination of back-lit routed letters and a panel over a custom awning. The LED back-lighting gives the sign a neon glow at night while giving the long-term life and serviceability of LED lights. The halo lit signage and canopy use a modern interpretation of the Art Deco theme. Since the building front was already curved, the address letters and canopy were custom-curved to match. Decorative sconces on either side of the sign complete the look.
