Custom Sign, Chelsea, MI

Carolyn McNagny, the owner of Bumble’s Dry Goods was in the market for a custom sign that captured the spirit of her shop, and would complement the feel of Downtown Chelsea, MI. She had reached out to a number of sign companies, yet had not received the customer service she sought or deserved. Perhaps the job was too unique, or perhaps the job was not expensive enough, but no one was willing to take the time to work with her and bring her vision to life.

Fortunately, we were able to turn this experience around.

Her story and her ideas really energized the team and we went to work designing her new sign and storefront. The design and fabrication teams caught the excitement and passion and, in the end, we created a sign that everyone in the shop was proud of creating. Carolyn was overjoyed with the result and has people asking about her sign on a regular basis.

Now we are working to design a sign for a neighboring business who was taken by the simple elegance of the Bumble’s Dry Goods rabbit.

This is not the biggest project we have worked on, but it is one of our favorites. The project embodies the best of what we can provide for the public and the best of what we can produce at Signs by Crannie.
