Welcome and Mission Statement Signs
When MRA Mobile Experiential was looking for a company to manufacture and install a welcome sign and six Mission Statement (Informational) Signs at the Police Athletic League in downtown Detroit, they contacted Signs by Crannie.
The Police Athletic League – PAL purchased the old Tiger Stadium. PAL wanted to do something special at the main gate to both welcome visitors and share the core values of the league. The challenge was, they wanted the new signage ready for the 50th anniversary of Tiger Stadium which was less than 4 weeks away.
Signs by Crannie was up for the challenge.
The welcome sign has a curved design that spanned the 40’ wide entryway. The six Informational mission statement signs had custom routed sports figures across the top of the sign. We routed the panels on our 5X10 feet high-speed CNC router. The header and message panels were installed with standoffs 2 inches off the main face of the sign. The tricky part of the fabrication of the header panels was that they wanted the panel to wrap into the support pole. The panels were full color digital prints; we printed the panels on our Roland Versa Cam 540i. We completed the project with time to spare and the customer couldn’t have been happier.
