Walter P. Chrysler Plaque, Bishop Airport

This is the base of the new statue of Walter P. Chrysler, who started out his automotive career with GM in Flint, Michigan.

The plaque under his foot was made at Signs By Crannie for sculptor Joe Rundell. He added it to the clay before the statue was bronzed.

It was unveiled Monday Sept. 9, 2013 and is on display at it’s new home in Bishop International Airport.
