Spa Monument Sign, Florida
The Laser Lounge Spa in Estero, Florida was looking for a spa monument sign to highlight their business that would go with their building’s interior branding and colors. Because their building exterior is in earth-tones and set back on the property, it was difficult for new clients to notice their location. The owners of Laser asked SBC for help.
Our designers created this monument sign for the Laser Lounge and Spa. It is full aluminum construction with push-through acrylic letters that are back-lit by LEDs at night. LED lighting provides maximum energy efficiency, and minimizes service calls. Decorations include a faux brick pedistal with faux wood end caps since real wood does not hold up well to the punishing Florida sun.
Since the spa monument sign was placed on a road curve, the sign face is convex so that it can be seen by motorists traveling in both directions. The sign is single sided. The all-aluminum back of the sign faces the parking lot only.
Due to historically conservative sign ordinances, the SBC team attended and spoke at several ZBA and sign review board meetings before this final design was accepted.
The client loves their new sign, and the day it was installed they were busy taking photographs of their new sign to put on Facebook.
