VG’s Food Center Custom Logo Sign
One of our long time clients, Vg’s Food Center, decided it was time to freshen their older signs. They envisioned a new custom logo sign that would appear to be floating on the front of the glass tunnel at the entrance to their newest store. It was important to us that our construction reflect the high quality of Vg’s Grocery products and personnel, and that on site time be at a minimum so as not to impact sales.
Our design team came up with the concept and we worked out the engineering. Our fabricators went to the store in Fenton to get exact measurements of the existing window mullions and the steel frame work of the glass tunnel. We then built the signage in two half-round sections and built and painted the support structure. The background is 12 feet in diameter, 7 feet deep, and made of aluminum to last for decades. The LED lit channel letters will require a minimum of maintenance.
As a result of the accurate measurements, the sign was installed quickly, and fit in place perfectly. The support structure virtually disappears at the window mullions and the power to the sign is not visible to customers.
Watch for another sign like this to be going up in the next two months in Genesee County.
