archway gateway

University Archway Gateway, Spring Arbor, Michigan

An archway gateway provides a stately entrance portal to a college or university that both impresses and shows the stability of the institution.

After working with the landscaping firm of Grissim Metz Andriese Associates on several large sign and fabrication projects in the past, Signs By Crannie was contacted to discuss a project at Spring Arbor University for archway gateway entrances and portals on the campus.

Projects like this take an incredible amount of cooperation and communication. We work closely with GMAA on selecting colors, design and materials, then with other contractors on fabrication and attachment points. The plan was then submitted to the University and approved to begin the signage and archway portion. This was all part of a larger plan that included masonry columns, walls and all new landscape architecture.

The client was happy with the results. Signs by Crannie was proud that GMAA had the confidence in past projects to select us to be a part of this beautiful improvement to Spring Arbor University.
