Local News Features Signs By Crannie Restoration of Nuclear Missle
Signs by Crannie was recently featured in a WNEM-TV news story after it accepted the contract to renovate a 60’s-era U.S. Polaris nuclear missile.
The missile comes with historical significance.
“I’m told it was on a submarine during the Cuban missile crisis, somewhere in the world,” Crannie said. “The information that was provided to us says there’s only one nuclear missile in private hands in the United States and it sits in my storage lot, so that’s pretty cool. ”
The missile’s owner runs MilitaryVehicleWeb.com, a web site that discovers interesting military and collectible vehicles worldwide for its clients.
